Gemma Marr

Gemma Marr teaches part-time in the Department of Humanities and Languages at the University of New Brunswick Saint John, and holds a SSHRC postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Historical Studies at UNB Fredericton. She recently completed her PhD in the Department of English Language and Literature at Carleton University. Her research focuses on gender and sexuality in Atlantic Canadian history and culture, with particular attention to constructed ideas of belonging and place.
